Civil concreting

Civil concreting on drawings — culverts and headwalls, gully pits and pits, kerb and gutter transitions, footpaths, driveways and pram ramps. Placed, compacted and finished to spec. Not house slabs. After the detailed excavation and before the pipe specialist work.

Concrete that belongs on a civil set of drawings

Civil concreting is a different job to residential. Mix design, cover, vibration, construction joints and cure all have to survive traffic, surcharge and Queensland weather. We place to the formwork, not to a guess, and we finish to the tolerance the inspector will actually measure.
